Rob,
Long time no chat. How are things going ?

I've got the same problem as you, except 2X as bad because the wife also needs a phone. I've currently got a Cingular 3125 Windows Smartphone, and she just went with the iPhone. We both have things we love and hate about them. I've used a bunch of phone/info managers in the past, and I have to give kudos to AT&T with the phones we have now. As TELEPHONES (the main thing we use them for) they work with GREAT audio quality. As PDAs, they are OK. Not great, but we both get our email pushed to them, and reply to emails, and it works. So we're basically happy.

I can't wait to try the new version of the Cingular 3125 (Nicknamed the star trek 2 from HTC) when/if it is released this fall.

Great minds think alike :o) I'm in the exact same boat as you except that my current device is the Treo 680. For me it does everything I need and that everything that the iPhone can't. It's just too bad that Palm is so... boring. But for now, I'll put up with the boring factor so that I can have a phone that syncs well with my Mac and has all the apps I need.
